My name is Mercy and I am 21 years old. I am from Nigeria. I have been transported illegally through many countries, including Turkey, Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia. I arrived in Italy and was trafficked repeatedly between Torino and Milan, where I was made to work as a prostitute until my debt of 60 000 euros was repaid. The safety of my family and their property in Nigeria were threatened if I failed to comply with my captor’s demands.
